Big Words...

As with every day, today Gavyn taught me something new. Although he has been very verbal for a long time now, he is much more interested in "big" words, words that he shouldn't use, and why some words we can use in certain contexts but not in others. Recently he has being expressing himself using words such as "Magnificent", “Delicious”, “Terrific”, “Fantastic”, “Wonderful”. He also has been correcting me when I have used words such as “Crazy” and “Stupid” which I try to explain are words that I can use sometimes – for example “I was just being crazy!” but then my explanation doesn’t make sense to me either…so I need to now watch my tongue even more than I have been!! Amazing how reflective and intelligent 3 year olds are...Oops, got to go. Gavyn is calling ... "Momma, I've had a "Gorgeous" poop!!"
