Brrr....

There were some fun activities lined up today for Toonik Tyme. We enjoyed ourselves at the Scavenger hunt this morning. We then watched Daddy's hockey game this afternoon -- he is part of the Men's tournament this week/weekend. After a tasty dinner from our Chinese take-out place, we had fun with some of our friends at the Kid's variety show. The show included magic, circus acts, comedy and singing. A really fun day despite the -40 degree weather!

Finger puppets

This morning we made finger puppets with inspiration from our April 2009 Chirp magazine. They were lots of fun to make and more fun to play with.

Gold Medal Victory

Gavyn and his team won the gold medal game at the Toonik Tyme Tournament. Matt was Gavyn's coach and was very proud, as were Momma and Noah (aka Gold Medal Spectators)

Happy Easter!

We had a great day! The boys got lots of treats from the Easter Bunny. They also got lots of treats from family -- Thank you!
We then enjoyed a nice brunch at the Frobisher Inn.
Gavyn then had a gold medal game in the afternoon and his team won Gold!!!
We then had dinner with friends at an Easter pot luck. It was a really fun day!

Let's catch up...

It has been a while since we posted...so let's catch up.
March was a fun month. Grandma Bryant came to visit, we got longer days and more sunshine, and we continued the hockey, soccer, swimming and gymnastics routine, while enjoying some time outdoors. Gav "reads" to Noah and makes us delicious pancakes for breakfast. Noah repeats all of Gavyn's words and tries to measure out the right amount of pancake ingredients.
A blissful life most of the time!

We Miss You Ruff!!!

We got news on Monday night that our friend Ruff was injured the previous Tuesday, which led to his eventual death on Friday. We are heart-broken to say the least, as we remember the super fun times we had together.
