We marked the big day with a birthday breakfast with some friends. Cinnamon French toast, crispy brown-sugar bacon, and a tower of fruit. Gavyn then played with his friends all day....
We celebrated as a family for dinner -- Pogos, corn on the cob (I can't tell you how much corn costs here as it makes me cry to think of it) and, as requested, a cake that tasted like vanilla but was orange.
We are so proud of Gavyn and the gentle, genuine and very generous boy he has become. What more can I say...we are so lucky and we love him very, very much.
