I miss my dad!

Today marks 7 years since my dad passed away. For those of you who knew Clifford Bryant, I am sure you have missed his kind heart, helping hands, and unforgettable laugh. For those of you who didn't know him, I am sorry that you missed out and were not able to meet and get to know the amazing person that he was.

I miss him everyday and only wish my boys would have been able to have him in their lives. They often remind me of him -- their love of music and dancing, their routine of pancakes Saturday mornings, their laughing that could go on and on. My dad would have loved Gavyn's enthusiasm for construction, and for trucks and tractors of all sorts, and he would have enjoyed chasing Noah as he continuously explores absolutely everything, and laughs and laughs all the while!

I spent lots of time with my dad building, planting, digging, fixing, chatting, cooking, playing,...,everything. He was the one I called when I needed advice, support, a laugh, or when things weren't so rosy and I needed to cry only to have him show me the bright side of things, or when I just wanted to say hello and chat for a while. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him -- but I feel particularly sad today. He did so much for me and I only hope that he knows how thankful I am to have had him as my dad. He always told us he loved us and hugged us often. He also used the saying "I have good news and bad news"...The bad news never mattered though, because the good news was always that he loved me. I hope that he knows how much I love him too!

We all miss Your dad, he was a great guy...I wish I could have been older when I knew him, so that I could appreciate more the great person that he was. If I had a wish, Id wish that the boys could have the chance to meet him. Lucky for them, they get a glimpse of him every time they meet and Kind, gentle and loving person.

I miss your Dad (my uncle) too! When my son walks around without his top on he has the same posture as uncle did! Stands tall & proud. He was my favorite uncle in the whole world and feel so very blessed to have had such a great one!

xxoo
