Land of snow and Ice...in July!!!

We were out playing in the bay where some ice floes have come in. It has been chilly to say the least...with a flew snowflakes dropping in for a quick visit.

Gavyn's 4th Birthday Party...

We had a great time at Gavyn's 4th Birthday party! Decided to have it a bit early so that his friends were still in town. Many are leaving for summer vacation. It was a beautiful day so the sandbox was the hub of most of the activity. We had snacks and chocolate "dirt" cake. Big monkey!!!

Beautiful Day -- If only there were wind!!!

Decided to go hiking at Sylvia Grinnell today but the bugs were particularly bad!! Wishing the wind would pick up so that we could enjoy being outdoors.

Happy Nunavut Day!!

We enjoyed Muskox burgers today at the Premier's Nunavut Day BBQ. Delicious!
Gavyn also got a fishing lure and some bug repellent wipes which are sure to come in handy. The bugs are terrible!
